Established in 1974, Tri-State Analytical Laboratory provides sampling and testing services to clients throughout a large portion of the southeastern United States. The environmental monitoring programs of Tri-State will assist you in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Our sampling and testing services include but are not limited to drinking water programs, NPDES / Pretreatment and POTW programs, storm water discharge monitoring, landfill monitoring programs, underground storage tank removal and maintenance projects, solid waste and hazardous waste disposal programs, bioassay monitoring projects, and air monitoring programs.

Our professional staff is composed of experienced analysts with degrees and training in the fields of chemistry, biology, environmental science, mathematics, computer science, and geology. Test methods and sampling protocols are EPA and OSHA approved. State of the art instrumentation, data management using our LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), and EPA based Quality Control program ensures confidence and validity in our test results.

Tri-State maintains certifications in several states and participates in the EPA performance evaluation programs and various state performance evaluation programs. On-site audits are performed on an annual basis by states that have audit programs as part of their certification and approval process.

Facility

Tri-State Analytical Laboratory is located in a 30,000 square foot brick, concrete, and steel structure in downtown Johnson City, Tennessee. The planned layout of the laboratory includes seven separate sectional laboratories in addition to the data processing and office areas.
